A Site Shaped by the History of Quercy

Before becoming the establishment we know today, the property of Le Clos Grand was part of the grounds of the Château de Labéraudie. In 1935, the site was transformed into an airfield for the French armed forces, leaving a strong mark on its history. This period is still present within the restaurant today, notably through a photograph dedicated to the Soupa family by an aviator who was rescued during the Second World War. A valuable testimony that recalls the unique past of this family-run house in the heart of the Lot.

After having been a restaurant and later a riding club, Le Clos Grand took a new turn in 1973, when Jean-Luc Soupa decided to transform the property into a hotel and restaurant to welcome travellers and tourists passing through the Quercy region.

Today, this family adventure continues with the same passion for hospitality and sharing. Set within a large wooded park, guests enjoy a calm and welcoming environment featuring comfortable rooms, a restaurant with a shaded terrace, and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool.
